  • Can I do the work myself?

  • Can we shop wherever we want?

    We’ll guide you to shop smart and efficiently—whether that’s through our trade vendors, local showrooms, or select retail sources. While you're free to shop anywhere, we recommend purchasing items that align with your approved design plan and using sources we can stand behind in terms of quality and lead time. That way, everything works together beautifully.

  • What happens during the initial consultation?

    This is our chance to walk through your space, discuss your needs, style, and goals, and see how we might work together. It’s a working meeting where we’ll offer insight and ideas, then follow up with a one-page design guide or proposal for next steps.

  • What’s the difference between a refresh and a remodel?

    A refresh updates the look and feel of a space—think new paint, furnishings, lighting, and layout. A remodel usually involves construction, like moving walls, updating kitchens or bathrooms, or changing the floor plan. We’ll help you decide what makes sense based on your space, goals, and budget.

  • What’s included in your design services?

  • Do you offer virtual design services?

    Yes! If you're outside the area or prefer a more flexible approach, we offer virtual consultations and full e-design packages. You’ll get a detailed plan to implement at your own pace, with guidance along the way.

  • What if I change my mind during the project?

    Design is a process, and tweaks are natural. We build in time for refinements, but major changes after approvals may affect timelines and costs. We’ll always be upfront about what’s possible and help you make confident decisions.

  • Will you be onsite during installation?

    For local full-service projects, yes—we coordinate or oversee key installations to make sure everything is placed just right. For remote or e-design clients, we’ll provide clear instructions, drawings, and support so your install goes smoothly.

  • Do you handle ordering and deliveries?

    Yes—if we’re managing your project, we can handle sourcing, ordering, tracking, and coordinating deliveries so you don’t have to. If you prefer to place orders yourself, we’ll provide links or specifications and note what to expect.

  • What if an item is backordered or discontinued?

    It happens! If a product becomes unavailable or delayed, we’ll find the best alternative that fits your design and keep you informed every step of the way. We build flexibility into the plan to handle these situations.

  • Do you mark up products?

    In some cases, yes. We receive trade discounts from certain vendors, and our markup covers the time spent sourcing, coordinating orders, resolving issues, and ensuring quality. When applicable, you’ll still often receive better-than-retail pricing overall.

  • Can I see everything before I commit?

    Absolutely. We present a cohesive design plan so you can visualize how everything works together. We aim for clarity and confidence before any orders are placed.

  • Will you work with pieces I already own?

  • How involved do I need to be?
